Muslims believe that the Qur'an is the greatest miracle of the Prophet Muhammad. As the holy book, Qur'an is believed to be constantly in tune with the times and in accordance with any place (salih wa li kulli meal times). Likewise, the miracle of the Qur'an should also be timeless.
In the early development of Islam, the Qur’an miracle aspect is viewed from the language beauty and the heights of literary. Understandably, the Qur’an was sent down on the Arabs who was infatuated with language fluency. Qur’an succeeded in making the Arab nation was amazed by the beauty of the language and its literature that they can not emulate.
The discussion of miracles language of the Quran has spawned a branch of science in clumps 'Ulumul I'jaz Qur'an called the Qur'an or' Ilm al-I'jaz. However, the miracle of the Qur'an from the beauty of the language can only be enjoyed by those who are fluent and Arabic linguists. Today it is probably almost no one who converted to Islam because of the fascinated Qur'an at literature. Therefore, the miracle of language is only temporally and locally.
Furthermore, the miracle of the quran is understood by the emergence of a figure Mu'tazilite theory, Ibrahim an-Nazzam (775-845 AD). He proposed the theory Ikhbar bil-Ghaib, the miracle of the Qur'an in terms of the things unseen information contained therein. For example, the information of Qur'an about the afterlife, heaven, and hell. Included in this theory is the prediction of the Qur'an about the events in the future. History has a lot to prove the truth of the Qur'an predictions, such as the defeat of the Romans as called in Surat ar-Rum.
This theory is strengthened by the findings of science that confirm the truth of the Quranic verses scientifically. From here develops whose name I'jaz Ilmi, the miracle of the Qur'an in terms of knowledge and science. For example, the finding of Pharaoh body (Pharaoh) by archaeologists who have been informed in QS. Yunus: 92, "This day We save your body so that you can be a lesson for those who come after and indeed, many among mankind are heedless of Our signs."
Nonetheless, the theory of Ikhbar bil-Ghaibdan I'jaz Ilmi temporally. It means that when the predictions or information science is proven, then along with its miracle is also completed. Therefore, it still needed of theory of miracle universally. This is where the author would like to propose the theory of Iqra 'as the greatest miracle of the Qur'an and universal. The word Iqra '(Read!) Which is the first revelation to the Prophet Muhammad, the writer, is the greatest miracle of the Qur'an that can be used by anyone, anytime, and anywhere.
The paragraph of "iqra bismi rabbika" provides three main guidelines of life. First, iqra'a will be science and technology. Anyone who can master this, he or she is able to dominate the world. Second, the word of God is universal rabb artinya. God has not called. Here the Qur’an still hudan lin-nas, yet hudan lil-Muttaqien. Third, khalaq, namely the universe.
So if you want to succeed in this world, you have to master three things: Science, God and Nature. Only after it was confirmed, the Qur'an not only as hudan lin-nastapi also hudan lil-Muttaqien. Muslims are prioritized as al-Muttaqun, but not read, then he will lose in this world. People with no religion, but he or she has good reading, he or she will outperform the others. This is the valid miracle forever
