Jakarta, October 17, 2025 — Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) has been named one of the top three best-performing ministries nationwide, according to a recent survey by IndoStrategi Research & Consulting. The assessment, released on the first anniversary of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka’s administration, awarded Kemenag a score of 3.26 points, ranking third after the Ministries of Primary and Secondary Education and Foreign Affairs.
Secretary General Kamaruddin Amin said the achievement reflects the Ministry’s commitment to the Asta Protas—eight strategic priorities focused on improving public service, transparency, and digital transformation.
“We are grateful for this recognition. IndoStrategi’s survey motivates us to strengthen our service for the public good,” he stated.
Kamaruddin noted that the Ministry’s progress is a result of collective teamwork across all institutional levels and aligns with President Prabowo’s Asta Cita vision of human development, education equity, and social justice.
Under Minister Nasaruddin Umar, Kemenag has driven major reforms, including digital education services, ecotheology programs, and a Love-Based Curriculum promoting empathy and social responsibility.
“This recognition is not the finish line—it’s a call to serve the nation with greater honesty, empathy, and innovation,” Kamaruddin concluded.
