Islamic Religious Education (PAI) should not be limited to helping students grasp religious concepts. Education must also help them make meaning of knowledge, build spiritual awareness, and translate it into ethical action. This idea lies at the heart of Mujahid's dissertation on humanistic-integrative PAI learning.

Mujahid presented these ideas during his Open Doctoral Promotion Examination held at the Graduate Program Hall of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta on Thursday (27/8/2026). In the examination, he successfully defended his dissertation titled “The Construction of Humanistic-Integrative PAI Learning Among PPG Alumni Teachers of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta: Meaning-Making, Negotiation, and Reflective Practice at SMA Negeri 3 Yogyakarta and SMKN 1 Depok Sleman.” He passed with the highest distinction (sangat memuaskan) and was confirmed as the 2008th Doctor of Islamic Studies at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta.
