The “informative” rating achieved by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta needs to be felt down to the faculty level, as Implementing PPIDs, and by the wider public. People seeking information about services, activities, financial information, or campus policies should be able to find it easily through each unit's official channels.

To assess how well this service is running, the Main Public Information and Documentation Officer (PPID) Team at UIN Sunan Kalijaga conducted monitoring and evaluation of the Implementing PPIDs on Thursday (24/9/2026). The team was divided into four groups to visit the Graduate School and eight other faculties acting as Implementing PPIDs.

During the visits, the Main PPID Team was received by the Implementing PPID officials at each faculty, including deans, vice deans for general administration, planning, and finance, division heads, and designated team members. The meetings focused on reviewing the public information displayed on the official websites of the faculties and the Graduate School, with reference to the Central Information Commission's evaluation criteria.

The monitoring results showed that all units visited had followed up on the implementation of public information disclosure. This was reflected, among other things, in the availability of Implementing PPID decrees, organizational structures, and public information request forms. The team also identified information that was already available but needed to be presented more clearly, as well as service areas that could still be improved.

Chair of the Main PPID at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Dr. Mochammad Sodik, said the monitoring is part of a collective effort to maintain the quality of information services. He noted that the “informative” rating achieved the previous year needs to be followed up with stronger information disclosure practices at every unit.

“This monitoring serves as a space for collaboration between the Main PPID and the Implementing PPIDs to align the presentation of information across faculties. In this way, public information can become easier to find, understand, and use for both students and the wider public,” said Prof. Sodik.

For the Main PPID, strengthening the Implementing PPIDs is an important step in ensuring that the public consistently receives its right to public information, regardless of which unit they approach. With more complete and easily accessible information, the “informative” rating does not remain merely an assessment achievement but becomes part of the public's actual experience when accessing UIN Sunan Kalijaga's services.
