Biografi

Khotibul Umam is a lecturer in Social Welfare Science at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN Sunan Kalijaga. His academic interests include generalist social work, migrant workers, and empowerment. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he is actively involved in academic journal management, serving as an editor and reviewer for various social welfare journals. 

Khotibul has valuable experience in the field of social work, having worked as a social worker at the Protection and Trauma Center of the Ministry of Social Affairs from 2014 to 2019. During this time, he focused on providing support and intervention for victims of violence, including children, migrant workers, domestic violence survivors, and women. His work in this area has significantly contributed to his expertise in handling complex social issues.

Additionally, Khotibul has experience as a lecturer at STAI Sufyan Tsauri in Majenang, Cilacap. He has also been involved in religious-social activities, collaborating with colleagues at the Lembaga Kajian dan Pengembangan Sumberdaya Manusia (Lakpesdam) NU in Cilacap and Yogyakarta. His social engagement and academic contributions make him a key figure in advancing the field of social welfare, particularly in the areas of migrant worker advocacy and social empowerment.
