CENDI UIN Sunan Kalijaga Partners with PT. PKSS to Boost Employability Rate

Yogyakarta – The Career and Innovation Development Center (CENDI) of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN) has officially established a strategic partnership with PT. Prima Karya Sarana Sejahtera (PKSS) Indonesia, a subsidiary of YKP BRI and BRI Pension Fund. The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Hotel Porto Yogyakarta.

The signing ceremony was attended by key figures, including Moh. Harsono (Business Director of PT. PKSS Headquarters), Endar Budi Santoso (Branch Manager of PT. PKSS Yogyakarta), Noor Saif Muhammad Mussafi, Ph.D. (Director of CENDI), Nur Fitriani Hardi, M.Psi. (Head of Career Development Division, CENDI), the UIN Sunan Kalijaga Campus Ambassadors, Dimas Diajeng DIY, and several other distinguished guests.

In his remarks, Noor Saif Muhammad Mussafi, Ph.D. emphasized CENDI’s commitment to enhancing students’ and alumni career development.

“CENDI consistently strives to expand its network with industry players to improve the Graduate Employability Rate (GER). This partnership is a concrete step to bring UIN Sunan Kalijaga graduates closer to the demands of the job market,” he stated.

Echoing this, Nur Fitriani Hardi, M.Psi., highlighted that companies today prioritize strong soft skills and positive attitudes over purely technical abilities.

“This is where CENDI plays a vital role—preparing students to compete not only academically but also in terms of mindset and character,” she explained.

Established in 1999, PT. PKSS has grown into one of the leading companies in human resource management services. Moh. Harsono, Business Director of PT. PKSS, expressed his optimism about the partnership:

“We require a large pool of outstanding human resources who are ready to work, and we believe UIN Sunan Kalijaga can be a trusted partner to help achieve that goal,” he said.

Through this collaboration, UIN Sunan Kalijaga students and alumni are expected to gain broader access to training programs, internships, and recruitment opportunities—equipping them to enter an increasingly competitive job market with confidence.
