Yogyakarta, October 23, 2025 —
Thirty-nine civil servants (PNS) of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan
Kalijaga Yogyakarta have been officially inaugurated as members of the KORPRI
Board for the 2025–2030 period, reinforcing the university’s commitment to
integrity, professionalism, and public service.
The inauguration, held in the
university’s Convention Hall and attended virtually via Zoom, was led by Prof.
Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, S.H., M.H., Chair of the National KORPRI Council and
Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN). Despite the hybrid format, the
ceremony carried a solemn tone as participants, dressed in the signature KORPRI
uniform, pledged to uphold their duties as public servants devoted to the
nation.
The event was attended by Rector
Prof. Noorhaidi Hasan, vice rectors, and bureau heads, alongside KORPRI members
from various faculties and administrative units. The occasion marked a
reaffirmation of UIN Sunan Kalijaga’s dedication to strengthening the
competence and integrity of its civil apparatus within Indonesia’s public
service system.
In his keynote address, Minister of
Religious Affairs, Prof. Dr. (K.H.) Nasaruddin Umar, highlighted KORPRI’s
strategic role in cultivating professionalism among civil servants and serving
as a vital bridge between government policy and public interests. “KORPRI is
not just an organization—it is a moral and institutional force ensuring that
public servants remain ethical, disciplined, and people-oriented,” he stated.
Under the Ministry of Religious
Affairs, KORPRI operates under the coordination of the Secretary General,
overseeing programs that nurture integrity, innovation, and social commitment
among the ministry’s employees nationwide. The UIN Sunan Kalijaga unit
contributes to this network by promoting collaborative governance and
strengthening institutional synergy across academic and administrative sectors.
Chairman Prof. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh
praised the Ministry of Religious Affairs for its continuous innovation in
building an adaptive and socially conscious civil service ecosystem. He
commended the “Kemenag Berbagi” initiative as a model of empathy-driven
bureaucracy. “Congratulations to all newly inaugurated KORPRI members. May this
spirit of solidarity and professionalism continue to grow across the ministry,”
he said.
Prof. Zudan also outlined four
strategic focuses of the National KORPRI Council: enhancing public service and
digitalization, reinforcing the ideological and moral foundations of civil
servants, providing legal and career protection, and improving civil servant
welfare. These priorities, he emphasized, are key pillars for shaping a
resilient and service-oriented bureaucracy.
With their appointment, the KORPRI
members of UIN Sunan Kalijaga pledged to strengthen cross-faculty coordination,
deliver excellent public service, and embody ethical leadership grounded in the
nation’s values of integrity and civility.
