Building a Global Career Ecosystem, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Explores Strategic Collaboration with PT Janzz Technology

UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta continues to strengthen its internationalization agenda through the development of a career ecosystem connecting higher education with the global industry. This effort took shape through exploratory talks on strategic collaboration with PT Janzz Technology, held at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) on Monday (7/27/2026).

The collaboration is part of an effort to build an ecosystem that brings together students, alumni, universities, and industry within a single connected platform. Through this approach, UIN Sunan Kalijaga aims to prepare graduates who are not only academically strong but also globally competitive, with broader access to international career opportunities.

During the meeting, PT Janzz Technology presented a digital platform that already partners with a number of leading universities in Indonesia. The platform is designed to connect graduates with the job market through a talent-matching system, enabling companies to find talent suited to their industry needs while giving graduates career recommendations based on their educational background and skills.

Through the platform, students and alumni can upload their CVs, receive relevant job recommendations, and get feedback on the competencies they need to develop to become more competitive in the job market. This data-driven approach is expected to help graduates plan their career development in a more targeted way, starting while they are still in college.

Beyond introducing the platform, PT Janzz Technology also presented projections on the future of the global job market, including the professions and competencies expected to be in high demand over the next four to five years. This information provides universities with important insights for aligning student skill development with the evolving needs of industry.

The meeting was attended by UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation Prof. Abdur Rozaki, along with FEBI leadership and academic staff, including from the Islamic Financial Management study program. The discussion opened opportunities for broader collaboration, not only in graduate job placement, but also in strengthening industry networks, enhancing skills, and developing integrated career services.

For UIN Sunan Kalijaga, strengthening partnerships with industry is part of its strategy for producing graduates who can adapt to global change. Synergy between universities and industry partners is expected to create an ecosystem that supports lifelong learning, the development of future skills, and greater access for students and alumni to pursue careers on the international stage.

Through this strategic collaboration, UIN Sunan Kalijaga reaffirms its commitment to continually driving innovation in career development for its students and alumni. By building an ecosystem that connects universities, industry, students, and alumni, UIN Sunan Kalijaga is expanding opportunities for global collaboration while strengthening its graduates' position as talent ready to contribute to the international job market.
