Stepping into 2026, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta finds itself at a remarkable juncture: global recognition, research breakthroughs, student achievements, and a growing international presence. These are not sudden strokes of luck, but the fruits of a long, deliberate journey.

That is the spirit behind this edition's theme: “Starting 2026 with Achievement”, more than a celebration, an invitation to read our progress as part of a bigger story about how a university grows, strengthens its foundations, and charts its course forward.

The main coverage highlights the university's global achievements, the strengthening of research and innovation outreach, the growing quality of its study programs, the journeys of students and alumni in international spaces, and the global networks of cooperation extending the university's reach. Alongside these, strategic steps such as public information transparency, the inauguration of professors, and participation in the SDGs are also part of this journey.

Behind these achievements lies process; classrooms, research, collaboration, continuous adaptation. Achievement is not an endpoint, but a marker of the right direction.
