Yogyakarta, October 1, 2025 — The State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta held a solemn ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Sanctity Day at the university’s main courtyard. The event was attended by university leaders, lecturers, administrative staff, students, and campus security personnel, symbolizing collective respect for Indonesia’s national ideology.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Abdur Rozaki, served as the ceremony inspector and led the 2025 Pancasila Oath, reaffirming the importance of Pancasila as the foundation of Indonesia’s unity and integrity.
“This pledge reminds us that since independence,
the Republic of Indonesia has continuously faced threats to its unity. Only
through solidarity and the noble values of Pancasila can we overcome these challenges,”
said Dr. Rozaki.
The official text of the pledge, signed by Speaker of the
House of Representatives (DPR RI) Puan Maharani, underscores
the nation’s enduring commitment to uphold Pancasila as a moral compass for
truth, justice, and national cohesion.
The
ceremony also served as a moment of reflection for the UIN Sunan Kalijaga
academic community, reinforcing the university’s dedication to nurturing
nationalism, pluralism, and civic character — in line with its vision as a
center of integration for knowledge, Islam, and humanity. (humassk)
