Yogyakarta, October 14, 2025 —
Twenty finalists of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Campus Ambassador 2025 took part
in a “Campus Unit Visit” program, designed to strengthen synergy, institutional
understanding, and leadership capacity among student representatives.
The finalists visited key offices
including the Public Relations Division, Admissions, Library, International
Office, Language Development Center, and the Center for Disability Services
(PLD). Each visit offered insight into the unit’s role while encouraging
collaboration and innovation.
Nurain from Student Affairs
emphasized that Campus Ambassadors should embody academic excellence, social
awareness, and strong communication skills.
“They are the face of 25,000
students and must understand the university comprehensively to represent it
credibly,” she said.
From the Public Relations Division, RTM.
Maharani highlighted the ambassadors’ strategic role in shaping the
university’s image and outreach.
“They bridge the campus with the
public, media, and partners—acting as communicators, content creators, and
event hosts,” she noted.
At the PLD, Dr. Asep Jahidin urged
finalists to carry the spirit of inclusivity, while Dr. Tafrikhuddin, Head of
the Library, introduced initiatives to transform the library into a cultural
and digital literacy hub.
The International Office and Language
Center encouraged the ambassadors to develop global competence and language
proficiency as tools for wider collaboration.
The program concluded with a shared
commitment to embody collaboration, inclusivity, and professionalism—turning
Campus Ambassadors into credible voices and cultural bridges of UIN Sunan
Kalijaga.
