UIN Sunan Kalijaga Prepares 9 Excellent Accreditation Criteria

In order to arrange UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta’s Study Program to be excellent and global, the Quality Assurance Agency (LPM) held a Workshop on Preparing for Excellent Accreditation which was held on Thursday, January 21, 2021.

This activity was attended by participants at the Novotel Yogyakarta Hotel and through the zoom meeting application. This workshop was attended by University Leaders, Faculty Leaders, internal assessors of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Heads of Study Programs and Secretary of the Study Program, Borang Team, PSMF and PMSP, Lecturer Teams in 60 Study Programs at UIN Sunan Kalijaga.

The activity presented other speakers including Sugiyono, Ph.D. the Executive Board of BAN PT and Dwi Harsono, MPA, M.A., Ph.D., Pandhu Yuanjaya, MPA and Hardian Wahyu Widianto, MPA from the UNY Public Administration Study Program.

The Rector of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Prof. Dr. Phil Al Makin, M.Ag. said that accreditation is not only 7 standards, but 9 criteria, which formally UIN Sunan Kalijaga is not only pursuing accreditation, but also creating real knowledge that has a high commitment and is fanatical towards knowledge.

Furthermore, the Chair of the LPM, Dr. M. Fakhri Husein, S.E., M.Si. said that this activity was a series of preparation for excellent accreditation by asking the readiness of study programs to enter the excellent scheme. The series of activities started 2 weeks ago by collecting 40 study programs that were ready to go to the excellent scheme. The hope is that this year it can give birth to many excellent study programs. There are 32 assessors who assist, and this year there are additional assessors to help provide mentoring at the next stage.

The follow-up to this activity is: mapping the accreditation scheme, socializing, mapping existing scoring, fulfilling activities so that the value of 4 for items is not maximal, preparing supporting documents, writing LKPS and LED, reviewing forms and uploading instruments to BAN PT.
