UIN Sunan Kalijaga has an MoU with Ain Syams Cairo
By the jargon, UIN Sunan Kalijaga for the nation and the world, UIN Sunan Kalijaga and Ain Syams University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). Both are committed to strengthening and prioritizing moderate and strong Islamic values as well as developing new scientific distinctions across disciplines wrapped in new pedagogical paradigms and inclusive technological development.
The signing ceremony took place at the Univ Ain Shams Cairo Auditorium and was attended by leaders from both institutions. Ain Syams top leader, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Dhiya Zain Abidib, Prof. Shofa Shahatah, Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah, Prof. Dr. Syahirah, director of foreign relations, Prof. Dr. Hanan Lathif, director of foreign relations, Tarbiyah faculty, and Prof. Dr. Wail El Sayyid, professor of Arabic, while from UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Prof. Phill Al Makin, M.A., chancellor, Prof. Maragustam Siregar, senate secretary, Prof. Dr. Marhumah Dean of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Dr. Ro'fah, FDK lecturer, Prof. Dr. Tulus Musthofa, Lc., MA., Professor of Arabic Language, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training.
The Chancellor of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Al Makin, said that this collaboration was a strategic step to improve the quality of education in the digital era. "The collaboration with Univ Ain Syams is part of our efforts to improve the quality of UIN Sunan Kalijaga education in accordance with our worldwide jargon. We are confident that, with the support and experience of Univ Ain Shams, we can develop various innovative programs relevant to our needs.
In his speech, the Chancellor of Ain Shams University emphasized the importance of synergy between educational institutions to face global challenges, especially in accelerating towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals. “This collaboration is not only beneficial for the two universities but also for the wider community. "Through collaboration in various fields, we are committed to sharing knowledge and resources to create better and more inclusive educational solutions,"
This collaboration is expected to strengthen relations between the two universities in the fields of education, research, and the development of cutting-edge technology to support the development of UIN Sunan Kalijaga into a global campus.
The signing of this MoU covers various aspects of cooperation, including joint curriculum development, student and staff exchange programs, and collaborative research projects. The two universities also agreed to hold joint seminars, workshops, and conferences to strengthen their academic and professional networks. With this long-term agreement, a more dynamic and creative learning environment is hoped to be created.
