Visit of IAIN Kudus to UIN Sunan Kalijaga for Benchmarking International Cooperation Governance
UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta received a campus visit from IAIN Kudus on Friday, 09:00-11:30 AM. August 2, 2024. This visit was for benchmarking related to the governance of university cooperation which UIN Sunan Kalijaga has successfully implemented. Also present were the Head of the AAKK Bureau, Ir. Sunarini, M.Hum., then also welcomed Khoirul Anwar, M.Si. (Head of Academic Affairs), Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. (International Office of University), Achmad Uzair, M.A., Ph.D., (International Office of University), Gunadi, M.H. (Archivist), and others. The event took place in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Prof. KH. Saifuddin Zuhri Building of UIN Sunan Kalijaga.
The delegation of IAIN Kudus initially received a detailed explanation of the management of university cooperation, both nationally and internationally. UIN Sunan Kalijaga's international cooperation has expanded to various continents and countries, as well as domestic cooperation that reaches out to various universities in Indonesia. In addition, the delegation of IAIN Kudus also learned a lot related to the development of universities that are not fixated on academic cooperation agreements alone, but its scope extends to the management and management of institutional bureaucracy.
The International Office of UIN Sunan Kalijaga represented by Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. explained the various achievements of the International Office of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, namely a) MoU between UIN Sunan Kalijaga and various foreign universities, such as MoU with 'Ainu Syam University Egypt, University of Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Brunei Darussalam. b) LoI or Cooperation agreement between various faculties of UIN Sunan Kalijaga with foreign faculties, such as LoI between FITK UIN Sunan Kalijaga and Tamavitya Mulniti School, Yala, Thailand. c) Management of Foreign Students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga where we (UIN Sunan Kalijaga) accept foreign students from various Asian, Middle Eastern and North African countries.
At the end of the event, a question and answer session related to the management of the implementation of activities after the MoU or LoI between UIN Sunan Kalijaga and various foreign universities. For example, the implementation of sending UIN Sunan Kalijaga students to Egypt, Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam for International MBKM activities. Not only that, UIN Sunan Kalijaga Lecturer Delegations also went to various countries such as Morocco, Turkey and others. Hopefully this meeting will provide many benefits for UIN Sunan Kalijaga and IAIN Kudus.
