Master of Arabic Language Education Leads Students to the International Field Study Program at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia

The Delegation of lecturers and students of Master of Arabic Language Education of UIN Sunan Kalijaga flew to Malaysia for the International Field Study Program at Universiti Malaya. This activity was attended by Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. and 16 students. This MPBA Study Program visit took place on Friday, July 19, 2024. The delegation actually has the aim of expanding the international network and also implementing cooperation with Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which has long been fostered.
The MPBA delegation, namely Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. and students were warmly welcomed by the head of the Study Program of Arabic Language and Midle east, Dr. Ahmad Arifin bin Sapar, Dr. Halim and several lecturers from the UM Faculty of Language and Linguistics. Dr. Andi Holilulloh, M.A. delivered his remarks that the International Field Study Program is an international cooperation program to facilitate international teaching practice for Our students. In addition, at this academic forum, both parties also discussed writing joint scientific articles, external examiners and exchanging students and lecturers between Our Study Program and the Faculty of Language and Linguistics, Universiti Malaya.
The UM Faculty of Language and Linguistics responded to good intentions in the conversation with our program represented by Dr. Ahmad Arifin. He said that the teaching practice plan for the students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga is a very good program and the Malaya University can also accept this. In this program, students also asked questions about the management of Arabic language learning at UM. Lecturers of Malaya University answered them very well. In addition to discussing, the students also observed in depth what was gained from the experience and knowledge available at University of Malaya to become material or ideas for the thesis research.
